More about the design thinking workshop:
Design thinking processes use empathy and customer interviews to design products and services.  It is very much the philosophy of Lean Startups and somewhat of the Maker Movement.  The workshop will be led by Larry Liu (CEO, pomegranate lab http://pomegranatelab.com/about-us ).  It will provide a framework for faculty, staff and students to incorporate entrepreneurial design thinking into courses, extracurricular activities and student clubs.

This work is a collaboration between CUNY’s Center for Student Entrepreneurship, Queensborough Community College and the Center for Economic and Workforce Development at Kingsborough.

This program has been generously supported by the Capital One Foundation.
