NRC Culinary ArtsEvent for NYC High School Counselors

The Center for Economic and Workforce Development (CEWD) in partnership with Kingsborough’s (KBCC) Culinary Arts program, have coordinated an information session for high school counselors who advise students about college options.

We at KBCC are pioneers in providing students with seamless advancement into our affordable occupational training program, Culinary Arts with Northeast Resiliency Consortium (NRC), and into college. Students can earn college credits through NRC and are offered assistance with the college application process. This system allows for many “on the fence” or unsure students to get comfortable with transitioning into college.

This information session is open to counselors who advise high school graduates. We will provide you with information about both the NRC and KBCC Culinary Arts programs and will answer any and all questions you have. Food for this event includes a three-course meal that will be made and served by current Culinary Arts students.
