KCC has partnered with College of Staten Island (CSI), LaGuardia Community College (LGCC), and City Tech to form the Offshore Wind Advisory Network (OWAN). These two presentations explore a variety of topics related to Offshore Wind Energy and include the history, science and logistics of Offshore Wind Energy, the variety of jobs in the field, workforce/ labor market statistics, and a plethora of current trainings, programs, and apprenticeships available at KCC, CSI, City Tech, and LGCC to help students receive the training they will need to be a part of the Offshore Wind Energy workforce.
