Dear Community,
One of the main goals for the Division of Workforce Development and Continuing Education is to provide accessible and affordable courses and programs to fit the needs of our students. While COVID-19 might have slowed us down, our team took the opportunity to redesign our programs and courses to ensure that our students will have an educational experience to help them pursue their academic, professional and career goals.
Now is the time for our students to prepare themselves for long-term success; whether that is taking an online High School Equivalency course, a Professional or Career certificate course or even a personal enrichment course, like Yoga online! We have revitalized our online course offerings to meet the current needs of our students and to better prepare them for the present employment opportunities and the future workforce.
In closing, I want to share that I have been moved by the dedication of our staff to continue our mission for providing excellent continuing education and workforce development opportunities for all our students and partners. As a community, we are all impacted and I am proud that we are working through these challenges together and pushing forward stronger and more resilient than ever.
Stay safe and healthy! Dr. Simone Rodriguez Vice President Continuing Education, Workforce Development & Strategic Community Partnership
